Grammie and Bucca...

They came to visit for the weekend (10/17-19)We had so much fun visiting, eating and hanging out with Kenron! I made apple crisp with some of the apples that Bucca brought and it was THE BEST APPLE CRISP I"VE EVER HAD. Shannon and Mat agreed... I was going to post a picture but it literally didnt last long enough :) We cant wait to see you again! love you grammie and grampa bucca!

6 months old.

How is it possible that an entire half of a year has gone by?


Kenron now sleeps 10-12 hours, straight, in his room at night.
His naps during the day equal 3 hours.. how and when they happen is not set in stone.
He is eating at least twice a day really good. By really good I mean a whole jar of food.
He eats "mom food" at 8, 11, 2-3, 5-6, and 8pm

He is rolling around like a champ!
he hasnt quite got the forward scoot down but it wont be long.
He loves the remote.
He's starting to sit up by himself.

He smiles at pretty much everyone.
He says Da-da-da-da-da-deah-da-da DAH-da-da....
I swear he has started throwing little fits if he doesnt get what he wants.

Kenron you make being a parent such a Joy. Thank you for being so sweet and happy, and thank you for keeping me humble when you throw up on me first thing in the morning :) We love you sugar bear, mom and dad.

I had dis-assembled a wig to add more hair to the original wig for Mat's costume (To Be Announced) and this is what was left. I could not stop laughing when he had this on, Mat came in and laughed and then said "freaky.." hehehe

K's new trick

This video is kind of long, but you can see he's rolling over a bunch now and is starting to do the "carpet swim" it cracks me up! it wont be long before he's scooting...

disclaimer: Mat was watching this history channel thing on a vampire lady, it was pretty interesting but I was paranoid that you would be able to hear it on the video so I'm talking A LOT. Sorry.

Two years ago.

Well we had a really nice Saturday. It was the twins birthday and Grammie and Bucca were here, and the weather was GORGEOUS! SOO in the morning we took it easy, grammie and I went to 7eleven and got some coffee and the newspaper. Shannon came over and we had some lunch. After that we got ready and headed down to Brick Town and walked around Bass Pro Shop and got some ice cream. Man, the weather was just so beautiful! Then we met up with Rusty, Onawa, and Evey at Cracker Barrel and had a WONDERFUL waitress and some good food, and good fun.

I really hope we can make this such a fun tradition for our family each year. Something ALL of our kids can look forward to. Thanks everyone for all your sweet notes and emails you sent, its so wonderful to know our boys are remembered with such love.

Mat's new toy...

Its so you can draw on the computer..its pretty cool. You can select different brushes, pens, pencils and you get the same look its just digital.

We played with it last night.. I dont think Mat did my hair justice, ha!

I think we are going to have ALOT of fun with this, Thanks Birdie!

Kenron has been feeling better.. but he was pretty grumpy the other day.. I think his teeth were bothering him ontop of his runny nose.. so I did what any good mom does.. gave him my pizza crust to keep him entertained.. it worked!




I have to confess its been fun for me to give kenron "new" food.. except, its so fun that in the last few days I've let him try chocolate pudding, french fries, a cracker, gnaw on a grape (I was holding), pizza crust..... dont tell the other moms they might kick me out of the club, ha!

Kenron is sick...

Well we made our first trip to the ER...
K is fine, we are fine, but sunday night was yucky. K had been acting funny since friday afternoon and had developed a runny nose Sat. and He really had a hard time breathing when he laid down, coughing and gagging, so we were all up most of the night.. Thank God for Mat... I was spent! He piled up some pillows and slept sitting up with Kenron on his chest from about 11-4am... then I took over. When K woke up at 8 I was REALLY awake.. so I took a hot shower and set up K in his seat so the steam might help break up his congestion. And since I was up why not go to church? So we went, and we were late.. the Lindens even beat us! haha.

Sunday we were trying to figure out if we could give Kenron anything that might help.. I emailed the doctor but I didnt expect him to respond till monday morn. So we didnt know if we could give him anything but his stuffy nose was keeping him from breastfeeding and sleeping well. About midnight K started doing this AWFUL cough and I was on the verge of a meltdown. I was trying to keep it together but I was freaking out inside.. not because of K but because of Isaac. You know the last time we had to make a trip to the hospital in the middle of the night Isaac was dying. So I was trying to reassure myself this was not the same thing.. He was just having trouble breathing...and the dr's will know what to do.. So Mat was wonderful and was reassuring me AND Kenron that it would be ok :)

This is what our room looked like the next morning... you see my purse...and the humidifier...and the swing...we were trying everything to help poor K.

The ER was surprisingly great. The nurses were so sweet, the dr was great, the ex-ray lady was a crabby old bird but Kenron smiled at everyone. He even managed to smile after the first nurse took his temp (over 100) in his bum. What a goof. He is such a happy baby... however he has started really protesting life in general since his stuffy nose has taken over.. Here is a little sample..


This was tuesday, he's pretty pathetic, but his little expressions he makes crack me up!


So we survived, it was our first visit but I'M SURE it wont be our last.. he is a boy, and he is a Tremblay.. they are trouble makers you know...I'm sure a broken bone and some stitches are in our future :)
